The Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 2 recently conducted a 2-day seminar about Filipino Brand of Service Excellence for the Managers of Accommodation Establishments and Travel and Tour Agencies and different tourism enterprises in the city which was held last November 15-16, 2022 at 3k Hotel, Malvar, Santiago City. Different representatives from hotels, restaurants, travel and tours agencies, barangays and many other flocked at the training venue to upgrade the quality of tourism and eventually magnify the brand of the city as the Premiere City and Business Hub of the North.

According to the DOT, the activity aims to develop and sustain a tourism workforce capable of providing excellent quality services of globally competitive standards to tourists and visitors travelling to and around the country while establishing and maintaining good customer relationship as well.

DOT Region 2 Director Ms. Fanibeth T. Domingo, EnP graced the event together with other representatives from the region as well as the resource speakers who discussed the following topics: Filipino Values and Service Excellence, Understanding the Guest, Delivering Great Excellence and Service Recovery.
